GTM Coherence

The degree to which a company's go-to-market system tells one story. What the company is, what it says, and how it operates either reinforce each other or quietly pull apart. Coherent systems compound: every tool, hire, and campaign multiplies. Incoherent systems leak revenue. Golden Ratio GTM measures coherence across five dimensions: Perception, Identity, Alignment, Action, and Feedback.

GTM coherence is the degree to which a go-to-market system tells one story. What the company is, what it says, and how it actually operates either reinforce each other or quietly pull in different directions. The term covers structure, not messaging polish: a system can have immaculate copy and incoherent operations.

Golden Ratio GTM measures coherence across five dimensions, scored together as PIAAF: Perception, Identity, Alignment, Action, and Feedback. Each is scored on its own and on how well it connects to the other four, because a system can work hard on every dimension and still fail when they fall out of proportion.

Coherence determines whether growth compounds. Coherent systems multiply the value of every tool, hire, and campaign added to them. Incoherent systems leak between 10 and 38% of annual revenue.
